Gregory Alan Isakov will embark on a U.S. tour this August, including a series of co-headlining shows with Blind Pilot, a date supporting The Head and the Heart and a headline performance at the 27th Rocky Mountain Folks Festival. Tickets for all dates are on-sale now. See below for complete itinerary.

The tour continues to celebrate Isakov’s most recent album, Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony, which is out now on Suitcase Town Music (purchase here). A collaboration with the Colorado Symphony, the eleven-track record includes the song “Amsterdam,” which was featured in the final season premiere opening sequence of HBO’s “Girls.” Additionally, NPR Music premiered the official music video for “Liars,” praising, “Stunning imagery and a symphony of sound make this Gregory Alan Isakov video an emotionally charged and poignant musical statement.”

Recorded at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver, as well as at Starling Farm in Boulder, Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony was co-produced by Isakov and his longtime collaborator, Jamie Mefford, and was arranged by Tom Hagerman (DeVotchKa) and Jay Clifford (Jump Little Children), and conducted by the Colorado Symphony’s Scott O’Neil. Since his debut with the CSO in November 2013, Isakov has gone on to perform with the Seattle Symphony, the Oregon Symphony Orchestra, The National Symphony Orchestra and The Atlanta Symphony, amongst others.

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and now calling Colorado home, Isakov is a lifelong traveler. Since his debut in 2003, Isakov has released six full-length albums and has toured alongside Iron & Wine, Ani DiFranco, Passenger, Josh Ritter, Brandi Carlile, and Nathaniel Rateliff
