MONOLITH FESTIVAL presented by Esurance, happening at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 13th and 14th, today announces two VIP events open only to MONOLITH VIP Gold Pass ticketholders: the Official MONOLITH Kick-Off Party featuring Cloud Cult, The Dutchess & the Duke, and Young Coyotes on September 12 at the Bluebird Theatre, and the Official MONOLITH Afterparty at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in the Underground on Saturday, September 13 featuring performances from The Hood Internet, White Williams, Passion Pit, Candy Coated Killahz, Boyhollow, Jackola and others.
In addition to raising the bar to an already top-notch MONOLITH VIP experience (which includes such amenities as reserved soundboard seating, VIP parking, Gold Pass Lounge access, CD sampler, oxygen bar and more), these exclusive Kick-Off Party and AfterParty events add a slew of hot indie bands to an already stellar MONOLITH line-up. While acts like Cloud Cult, White Williams, The Dutchess & the Duke, Passion Pit and Young Coyotes will play only at the VIP events; Snowden, Dressy Bessy, KaiserCartel, Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, The Veils, The Muslims, Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons, Electric Touch, Moonspeed, Astra Moveo, Rob Drabkin and Alyse Black have been recently added to the festival's main line-up. The additional acts round out MONOLITH's hand-picked lineup of indie favorites and blog darlings, which for 2008 includes Denver's own Devotchka and French electro-buzz-band Justice as headliners.
