San Francisco's Cool Ghouls have been busy preparing their 2016 campaign for rock'n'roll around the world, putting the finishing touches on a forthcoming LP and tightening up their new jams at house shows around their home city. The ghouls are hitting the road to spread the word up and down the West Coast later this month. They will start in Eugene, OR, make their way to Boise for Treefort Music Festival, and end up in Los Angeles, making stops all along the way.

Fans of the Madison, Wisconsin-based collective Natty Nation have been anticipating a new album since the group whet their appetite in 2010 with the emotive and anthemic single, “Suffice.” The song was the first new track since the group’s highly acclaimed 2008 album, Reincarnation. On March 11th, Natty Nation will release Divine Spark (iNatty Records). The album represents epiphanic spiritual and artistic journeys.

Sister roots rock 'n' soul band Larkin Poe has announced additional east coast tour dates before kicking off the European leg of the "Detour" Tour with Elvis Costello. The duo is set to headline at Gypsy Sally's in Washington, DC on April 18th, Mercury Lounge in New York, NY on April 19th, as well as MilkBoy in Philadelphia, PA on April 20th.

Dave Insley announces an April 29 release date for Just the Way That I Am, the latest album from the Austin-based singer/songwriter issued on his own DIR Records imprint. Backing him on the new CD are the members of his regular band, Dave Insley’s Careless Smokers, along with several special guests including singers Kelly Willis, Elizabeth McQueen and Dale Watson, as well as guitarists Redd Volkaert and Rick Shea.     

Deadhead Productions and the multifaceted band, Railroad Earth, have announced a new partnership in hosting this year’s Hillberry: The Harvest Moon Festival. The 4-day music and arts festival is set to take place October 13-16, 2016 at Deadhead Productions’ venue known as “The Farm,” in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
