Flushing Town Hall will celebrate Día de los Muertos, Mexican art, and community resilience with its first-ever MexFest, featuring an art exhibition (October 15–November 30) and a Day of the Dead celebration on Saturday, November 1.

The free event includes arts workshops, story-gathering activities, and a concert with Linda EPO and Mariachi Tapatio de Alvaro Paulino.

The venerable Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival (HSB) celebrated its 25th anniversary last weekend with three days of free music on six stages in Golden Gate Park. Sunny weather and friendly fans cooperated to manifest merriment worthy of the magnificent musical lineup.

Friday, September 27th, dawned bright and sunny. Tropical clouds from Hurricane Narda dissipated along the Southern California coast as the second day of the Ohana Festival began. On Doheny Beach below the festival, surfers gathered, ready for the new swell spawned by Narda’s remnants.

The celebrated West Coast music gathering Wintergrass returns to the Hyatt Regency Bellevue from February 19-22, 2026, unveiling its official lineup and embracing a “Rad Trad” vision that celebrates both the roots and evolution of traditional music.

The 80’s New Wave tour TOTALLY TUBULAR FESTIVAL has announced four East Coast shows to close out 2025. Running December 27–31, the tour will stop in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, featuring such artists as A Flock Of Seagulls, Men Without Hats, Thomas Dolby, The Motels, Bow Wow Wow, Tommy Tutone, The Romantics, and Animotion (original members). One highlight is a free New Year’s Eve show in Niagara Falls, New York at Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino.
