The High Sierra Music Festival Band Contest is now underway with five regional showcases across the West Coast, spotlighting 20 emerging bands selected as semi-finalists and featuring the expertise of 15 respected judges. In San Francisco on April 17 at the Boom Boom Room, judges Pamela Parker, Andy Gadiel, and Pamela Gerstein will evaluate performances from bands such as ELENA musica, The Fell Swoop, The Humidors, and Tony Glaser Music and The Party.

Following a successful 2024 festival, the Philadelphia Folk Festival triumphantly returns to Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township for its 62nd event from August 15th – 17th, 2025 with a special Thursday Night Concert Just for Campers on August 14th. The Frankfort Bluegrass Festival, a 100% not-for-profit celebration of America’s enduring musical tradition, will mark its 15th anniversary on July 12–13, 2025, in downtown Frankfort. Recognized as a premier music destination, this free two-day event has earned notable accolades, including being named the 2018 IBMA Event of the Year and “Best Event of the Year” by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) in 2019.

Florida’s beloved independent festival, the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival (OMF), has announced its return set for March 19-22, 2026, at the always magical South Florida nature paradise of Sunshine Grove. Founded in 2016 with a mandate of authenticity, kindness, and respect between each other and the environment we inhabit, OMF will once again celebrate the spirit of music, arts, and community with a diverse, multi-genre lineup and “only at Okeechobee” immersive experiences unlike those found at any other festival event.

Single day band lineups have been announced for Punk In The Park Denver, July 18-20 at National Western Stockyards in Denver, Colorado.

The biggest Punk In The Park event to date will feature performances from over 40 bands on two stages, with no overlapping set times.
