Grace Potter & Higher Ground announced that the Grand Point North music festival, presented by the Point & VPR, will return to Waterfront Park in Burlington, VT on Sept. 16th & 17th, 2017. This marks the seventh year of the festival.
Early Bird two-day tickets and VIP Passes go on sale this Friday, Feb. 10th at 11am. Early Bird tickets are just $69. VIP Passes are $159 and include early entry to the festival grounds each day, exclusive VIP viewing area at the sound board, commemorative VIP laminate, festival poster signed by Grace Potter, and access to VIP hospitality tent with discounted beverages and light food provided.
Grand Point North, now a staple of the thriving Vermont music scene, features a lineup that Potter personally curates. "This year will include local favorites, regional and national bands, as well as expertly crafted local food, drink, performance, art, and mayhem,” said Potter, who will return as the featured performer of the festival. Mixing in some Grace Potter & the Nocturnals’ classics like “Stars” and “Paris (Ooh La La)” alongside tracks from her debut solo album Midnight on the set list, Grace’s enthusiastic and energetic performances will get both old and new fans on their feet. Past performers include artists such as The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Flaming Lips, Guster, Fitz & The Tantrums, and many more. The full lineup for this year’s festival will be announced in the spring.
