Mike Dillon is a hardworking man of many hats. The songwriter, percussionist, vibraphonist and bandleader has a lengthy resume displaying a vast list of projects spanning genres of rock, punk, jazz, afro-funk and hip-hop. Dillon has played with Ani DiFranco, Karl Denson, Les Claypool, James Singleton and Ten Hands.

Anvil may be a new name to you, but in the metal community they have been known for the past thirty years. They have played on stage with the likes of Bon Jovi, Scorpions and Whitesnake, but until recently fame and stardom have eluded them.

Canadian Bob Masse, who has recently been designing posters and t-shirts for LebowskiFest, Playboy's recent Bunny series and Phil Lesh & Bob Weir's Furthur, is himself very Lebowski.

Visual artist, writer, musician and actor Wes Freed is a Southern Gothic multi-disciplinary wonder of sorts. His work overlaps to such an extent he almost sings his paintings and paints his songs. Freed himself, his wife and long-time collaborator Jyl, his truck and his home studio all seem to overlap with it as well.

“Concentrate”, the title of Freekbass’s newest album sums it well. With the influence of funk genre music that Freek experienced growing up in Cincinnati Ohio, along with his deep desire to play bass, Freekbass has without a question created an album that keeps bass and funk glued like never heard before.

For once, you can judge a book by its cover: Truth and Salvage Co. is exactly what the name suggests. A six-member Americana country-rock band, Truth and Salvage was formed (salvaged, if you will) in 2005 from the remains of two LA-based bands.
