There is unquestionably an art to the super jam. It can’t just be a bunch of talented musicians thrown onto one stage with a few hours of rehearsal, then go! There has to be context if not history, empathy between the players, and of course chemistry. Often times musicians of the same craft will have such different approaches that the live performance result is far from copacetic. Brooklyn-based alternative folk duo The Bergamot have announced the February 11th, 2016release of their new album Tones as well as their upcoming 48 State "Unity Tour." At each stop of the tour, The Bergamot will be inviting fans to sign their car as a symbol of unity. The "Unity Tour" kicks off in NYC on January 2nd, 2016, with a homecoming in South Bend, IN on April 2nd.
