ALO is excited to announce their 12th annual Tour d’Amour.  Held each year in February and March, to surround Valentine’s day, the tour is a celebration of love in all of its forms. The celebration in 2018 will be as epic as ever, with one modification.

Acclaimed alt-folk quartet Darlingside announces the February 23rd release of their anticipated new album Extralife (More Doug Records/Thirty Tigers), and a March/April tour (See Dates Below). Extralife is the follow up to the band’s 2015 breakthrough, the highly praised Birds Say. Where Birds Say was steeped in childhood nostalgia and the loss of innocence, Extralife finds Darlingside looking to the future, mourning the loss of our world with an almost post-apocalyptic view.

Potions and Poisons is the fourth album of original music from Head for the Hills, the Colorado based post-modern bluegrass outfit of Adam Kinghorn, Joe Lessard, Matt Loewen and Sam Parks. There’s no reinvention of the wheel here--no computer programmed banjo rolls or digitally arpeggiated fiddle lines. Instead we find Head for the Hills at the peak of their powers of musical alchemy, building little worlds of sound from the detritus of bluegrass, jazz, hip hop, folk and soul.

J Boog (Jerry Afemata), a reggae singer of Samoan descent was born in Long Beach and raised in Compton, CA. He is the youngest of seven brothers and one sister who come from hard-working parents that relentlessly instilled a strong cultured household.

Brooklyn's Turkuaz has been bringing their nine-piece party music across the country all year and are on a break for two weeks before continuing a national run that ends on New Years Eve in Baltimore. Today, they announce a Winter 2018 headlining tour that starts in Detroit on January 9, crossing the country to end in with two shows with Galactic in Los Angeles on March 30 and San Francisco on March 31.

New York City based gritty rock and rollers, A Shadow Of Jaguar, announce their debut LP RAW, due out October 2017. Substream Magazine premiered the lead single and video "Don't Want To Die Here" stating, "A Shadow Of Jaguar is a high-energy, no holds barred rock-n-roll band with a sound ripped right out of the late 70s. They are the kind of band that is very much 'what you see is what you get' in that there are no frills or gimmicks."
