In today’s times, with so much music out there, one can easily retreat into their known area, with their known bands, rather than take on the easily overwhelming journey of searching to find new music to their liking. Yet sometimes an album has the natural ability to float to the top of an ever-flooded market and shine forth.

Midnight North releases Selections from Levon Helm Studios, a new live album via Americana Vibes. Selections from Levon Helm Studios features a mix of Midnight North originals with classic rock hits such as “Don’t Do It” and “Luxury Liner.”

With a keen eye on musical evolution, the band still looks back and savors their favorite moments. Selections from Levon Helm Studios celebrates a very special night for Midnight North: November 9, 2019 at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, NY.

It’s been a few years since Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s Jeff Hanna paid $4 to see Bob Dylan play at his high school auditorium in Long Beach, California, but the fire lit inside of Hanna that night still burns as strong as ever. Hanna and his Dirt Band bandmates have had quite a career of their own since then, introducing folk, bluegrass, and country music—what would later be termed “Americana”—to a whole new generation of fans.

Zero, one of the creators of improvisational jam band music and a band that became a San Francisco musical institution, is pleased to release a new live double album, Naught Again. It is a super-high-fidelity recording of previously unreleased tracks from an epic three-night-run at the Great American Music Hall in 1992.
