Tunisian oud master and vocalist Dhafer Youssef has announced his forthcoming studio album, Street of Minarets, out January 27th via Back Beat Edition. The album is available now for pre-save HERE. The new single, and the album’s closer, “Ondes of Chakras” features a meditative build of sound created by a flurry of woodwind flourishes, groovy strings, and a percussive backdrop.

Singer/songwriter/guitarist David Crosby, who passed away on Wednesday, January 18, at age 81, was a Renaissance Man among musicians. When a good many artists of his generation stopped producing meaningful new music as they entered their ‘Golden Years’ – and were apparently content to ride on the coattails of their own career, it seemed that he was only getting started.

Join us as acclaimed jazz guitarist Ron Affif and his formidable trio take the stage at Zinc. Supported by bassist Neil Caine and drummer Jeff “Tain” Watts, this is a performance you won’t want to miss.
