As we mark the 92nd birthday of John Williams, it's a moment of profound reflection and celebration for us at Grateful Web. The legendary composer, whose melodies have become synonymous with the cinematic tapestry of our lives, holds a special place in the hearts of many, including myself, whose journey into the grandeur of classical music began with the iconic scores of Williams (and Bugs Bunny cartoons).

The Santa Barbara-based Doublewide Kings brought their brand of roots-rock magic to the historic Alcazar Theatre in Carpinteria for a two-night fundraising event, thrilling sold-out crowds with classic covers and their own brand of Americana goodness. The events were organized to raise funds for much-needed upgrades to the theatre, and they proved to be more than just concerts; they celebrated community, music, and the enduring power of the Alcazar itself.

Michael Franti & Spearhead announce the first leg of their Togetherness Tour that will take them across the U.S., including stops at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Tortuga Music Festival and a return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The tour will include special guests Stephen Marley and Trevor Hall, as well as Niko Moon, Bombargo and Ripe on select dates. Today, The Tragically Hip are proud to be announced as the Record Store Day Canada 2024 Canadian Ambassadors, releasing an exclusive standalone live album, Live at CBGB’s, on Record Store Day. The global celebration of the culture of independent record stores takes place this year on April 20, 2024, as it has annually for the last 17 years. This announcement marks the first of many moments this year for The Tragically Hip as they celebrate 40 years as a band.
