On Friday, September 11, 2015, Lockn' Festival presents an exclusive performance of Mad Dogs & Englishmen, hosted and curated by Tedeschi Trucks Band and featuring Leon Russell with many original members of the famed tour, as well as additional special guests, to take place at Lockn' Festival in Arrington, Virginia.

In 2013, Lockn' Festival and Tedeschi Trucks Band began discussions to collaborate with Joe Cocker for a special event. This planned collaboration would have brought together Tedeschi Trucks Band with Joe Cocker and some original members of Mad Dogs & Englishmen and other guest artists.
The idea was well received, but sadly, Joe Cocker died, after a long illness, in December 2014. However, the idea has survived.

Original Mad Dogs & Englishmen members include: Leon Russell (guitar and keyboards), Rita Coolidge (vocals), Bobby Jones (vocals), Claudia Lennear (vocals - 20 Feet From Stardom), Chris Stainton (keyboards - Eric Clapton, The Who), Chuck Blackwell (percussion - Everly Brothers), Bobby Torres (percussion), Pamela Polland (vocals - Ry Cooder, Bonnie Raitt), Matthew Moore (vocals) and Daniel Moore (vocals).
Special guests include: Chris Robinson (Black Crowes), Dave Mason (Traffic), Doyle Bramhall II, Anders Osborne (Galactic), Alecia Chakour (Warren Haynes Band), Shannon McNally and more.
The 2015 Lockn' Festival is September 10-13 at the Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia and will also feature Robert Plant & Sensational Space Shifters performing 2 nights with 2 different sets, Phil Lesh & Friends with Carlos Santana, Jorma & Jack celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Jefferson Airplane, Widespread Panic with special guest Jimmy Cliff, Gov't Mule, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, The Doobie Incident featuring The Doobie Brothers with The String Cheese Incident, Little Feat, St. Paul & The Broken Bones and many more.
