We're really looking forward to our annual epic gathering at The Fillmore on December 1, and more about that in a minute.
But before we get to all that, we wanted to take note of the fact that it's Thanksgiving hereabouts next week, and that we are very, very grateful to you all for your kind ongoing support, which in turn is helping us help a lot of people do great work. Thank you very much!
We've got a very sweet evening coming up December 1 at The Fillmore in SF, and we hope you'll be a part of it. Melvin Seals & JGB, along with One Big Guitar, will keep you dancin' the night away. We have a limited number of general admission tickets available at Ticketmaster. Or hey, gather your friends and book a table! Details here.
Last night on KPFA's "Dead to the World," guitarist Zach Nugent shared some thoughts on playing with Melvin Seals & JGB, the healing power of music, its ability to bring people together--and how he's looking forward to being part of all that at The Fillmore. Listen here (clip streams till 11/28; interview starts at about 35:00). On November 28, One Big Guitar will be joining host Tim Lynch in the studio, so check that out too!
Speaking of beloved holiday traditions, heads up, L.A. folks: our good friends Cubensis return to The Mint on Sunday, November 25, with their annual Thanksgiving Potluck Feast & Concert. We're pleased to report that there will be Rex Karaoke, in which the band will back your rendition of your favorite Dead tune in return for a donation to Rex!
Also coming up Thanksgiving weekend, music, vending, and fun All Night Long from our friends Mysterytrain in Altoona, PA. Happening Saturday night, November 24, till Sunday. Portion of the proceeds goes to Rex!
Thanks so much, happy holidays, and hope to see you at The Fillmore!
