Emerging Los Angeles based rock band The Shelters' video for their track “Gold” premieres on W Magazine, who says “The foursome crafted a visual collage of Californian inspirations that isn’t short on the luxury.” The song appears on their self-titled debut album—out now via Warner Bros. Records—which continues to receive critical praise from Billboard who calls it, “Jangly, buoyant, foot-tapping…blending classic influences with modern swagger” and Paste who proclaim, “The band’s sound successfully marries elements of ‘70s and ‘80s rock and roll with a modern flair.”
The record was co-produced by one of the group’s musical heroes, Tom Petty, with all songs written by band members Chase Simpson (vocals, guitar) and Josh Jove (vocals, guitar).
Additionally, the band confirms select tour dates with The Lumineers, Royal Blood and Kaleo making stops in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, D.C., Portland and more. Additionally, the band will make festival appearances at Chicago’s Lollapalooza and Louisville’s Forecastle.
