Shine Music is thrilled to announce the fourth annual Shine Music Festival, set to take place on August 24, 2024, at ReelWorks Denver. This year's lineup features the incredible talents of Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Neal Evans Fro Down, The Copper Children, and many more.
“There truly is magic and healing in the live music experience,” states Neal Evans, drummer for Dopapod. “Everyone should be able to experience live music. EVERYONE. Shine Music leads the way in making sure that no alter-ability gets in the way of that. I’m honored every time I get to participate in this event and am grateful to bring musicians I’ve met along my path from so many different areas together to help show everyone how it can be done!”
The Neal Evans Fro Down will include performances by Neal Evans, Rob Compa, Reed Mathis, Dan Africano, Jeremy Garret, Joy Adams, and more. Additional artists gracing the stage include The Copper Children, Joe Bye & Rocky Mountain Guy, Grant Livingston & Ben Maillard, Cory Simmons, Lauren Nershi & Oren Paisner, and others.
This year, the festival introduces a family-focused interactive music theme for the free daytime programming on the main stage. “Shine Music’s mission is centered around the ability for all to participate in the powerful community live music creates,” states Shawn Satterfield, Shine Music’s Founder and President. “Sharing music with your kids elevates that experience for all. With 11-year-old DJ Dopewave, Denver’s School of Rock, and the music of The Beatles featuring The Rock and Roll Playhouse on the lineup, we are creating a space where people of all ages can share in the music together.”
In collaboration with EnChroma, Shine Music is adding Color Accessibility into this year’s comprehensive accessibility plans with color-blind, low-vision, and color-enhancing glasses for all guests to experience.
The event is free from 12-6 pm, with ticketing for the evening portion provided through The Ticketing Co at https://theticketing.co/e/shinemusic.
