From the backroads of Northern Michigan, Silver Creek Revival (SCR) emerges as a dynamic force in the Americana/Indie Folk scene. Founded on the principle that songs come first, SCR crafts music that is simple, profound, and accessible. Their unique sound is characterized by the use of banjo, saxophone, lush harmonies, and an intuitive rhythm section, telling stories through both their songs and their performances.

Produced by Shane Cody of Houndmouth, SCR's upcoming album "Young in Warm Weather" is set to captivate listeners. This July, the band released two new singles from the album:

Hailing from Northern Lower Michigan, Silver Creek Revival takes its name from the creek that flows near their rehearsal space. The band consists of Ashley, Sam, Jack, Hannah, and Henry—each bringing their own unique musical influences and styles. This blend of individuality and harmony creates a sound that is both genuine and magical.

Silver Creek Revival released their debut self-titled album in the summer of 2022. The album was nominated for WYCE’s Jammie Awards for Best Roots/Americana Album and Album of the Year. Katie Rosendale of Local Spins praised the album, saying, “There’s not a bad song on the record,” and described it as “perfect for fans of Nickel Creek and Eddie from Ohio.” In December 2022, SCR followed up with a four-song EP recorded at Dogtown Studios in Grand Rapids, MI.

Their latest singles, “Graceful Dancing Patter” and “Please Speak Plain,” were recorded at The Greenhouse in New Albany, Indiana, the same studio where Houndmouth recorded their latest album "Good For You." Under the guidance of producer and mix engineer Shane Cody, the band has tapped into a deep well of creative inspiration.

Silver Creek Revival is known for their versatility during live shows, seamlessly transitioning from heartfelt country ballads to gypsy jazz, indie rock, traditional folk, and more. Their performances are both cohesive and unique, offering something for every listener.

With multiple lead vocalists and a genre-defying sound, SCR keeps a busy performance schedule, traveling to stages big and small across the Midwest. With dozens of new songs ready to go, a strong work ethic, and creativity flowing as freely as the Northern Michigan waters, Silver Creek Revival is a band to watch.
