Alison Krauss and Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas have joined the lineup for the 6th annual Mountain Jam Music Festival. Krauss is the recipient of a staggering 27 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for her collaboration with Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant, Raising Sand. She is the most awarded female artist (and the second most awarded artist overall), in Grammy history.
The Dodos Announce US Tour with New Pornographers, Play Bonnaroo & Winnepeg Folk Festival. The Dodos will Perform "Fables" On The Late Show With David Letterman / and they will Premiere "Longform" Video On Pitchfork TV. The Dodos are on tour beginning in June, so check them out if they're in your neck-of-the-woods.
Gathering of the Vibes 2010 marks the third installment of a five-year contract with the city of Bridgeport to host the annual music, arts and camping festival at Seaside Park through summer 2012. After drawing 20,000 revelers per day to the 370-acre venue last year, the city and festival organizers look to spread more positive Vibes in 2010. This all-ages, family-friendly event will be held from July 29 to August 1.
Rose Presents, one of the principal partners in the 10,000 Lakes Festival, announced today that 10KLF would be on official hiatus until further notice. Unfortunately, 10KLF could not grow to financial success.

The organizers for The 3g's Festival are very psyched to announce this year's festival dates. The 3g's Festival 2010 will take place from Thursday, July 29th to Sunday, August 1st, 2010. We'll be hanging at the same spot as last year, Camp NCN, Black River Falls, WI. This event is 18 Years & Older Only, so please keep that in mind when making your plans. Tickets go on-sale Saturday, January 9, 2010 @ 10am Central.

The showcase will feature New Orleans artists that represent various styles of music that the Crescent City is known for, including Anders Osborne, Big Sam's Funky Nation, and The Stooges Brass Band.
