The Mighty Pines on tour, and on-the-move recording.
Chicago, IL
Self-described as a soul-inspired roots rock band, influenced by the wide rivers and red-brick streets of St. Louis, The Mighty Pines are a blend of soul-inspired roots, Americana, and rock with impressive musical chops, tight harmonies, and dynamic on stage.
Besides touring, they are just as busy off the stage having released a 13-song, live compilation in May and are now releasing a new single "Heat of Steel" this month with producer Tim Carbone (of Railroad Earth), due out September 21st. Plus they are finding time to record demos in between.
The band also recorded two other singles with Carbone. The first of which, "Farmer Song," was recently released as the theme song to 2018’s Farmers United Tour, a three-stop tour across Missouri in support of local farms and healthy soil.
Neil Salsich (vocals, guitar), Gerard Erker (mandolin, banjo, vocals), John Hussung (bass, vocals) and Mike Murano (drums formed in 2012 and have three studio recording out. Be sure to catch them live when they pass through. It's foot-stomping show not to miss.
