Guitar and Me is the debut solo release from New York based guitarist Aleksi Glick. The album plays as a genealogy of the guitar, weaving through various musical styles that have been crucial to the guitar’s evolution as well as influential to Glick’s own journey with the instrument. While still rooted in jazz and blues, the album pushes the boundaries of genre by seamlessly floating through an eclectic mix of other styles including R&B, folk, rock, and bossa nova.

Wreckless Strangers, Bay Area Americana troubadours noted for their prolific songwriting and energetic live shows, are set to play the newly re-opened Peri’s in downtown Fairfax on Friday, April 8. Peri’s is a true original and one of Marin County’s most beloved live music venues. Closed since the pandemic began, Peri’s opened its doors to the public on March 17.

Boston-based world-dub-jazz collective Club d'Elf have released "Zeed Al Maal," the third single and video (watch/share) from their upcoming double album, You Never Know, out April 1. A folk song from the Gnawa musical tradition, it was taught to Club d'Elf's founding member Mike Rivard by the legendary Moroccan musician Maalem Mahmoud Gania during a trip to Essaouira, Morocco several years back.
