On December 17th, 2021, Kareeta, a new country rock band, shares its debut album worldwide. Kareeta rose from the swamps and southern delta heat during the uncertain Spring of 2020. Emerging as a fully formed amalgamation of the music that shaped its core, the band assembled in California and recorded their debut LP in Oakland with producer and musician Greg Loiacono (Mother Hips, Green Leaf Rustlers) at the controls.

"I had the privilege of working alongside Betty White on many occasions back in my game show days of the late '70s and early '80s. We appeared together on Match Game, Tattletales, and Password Plus, and she always went out of her way to make me feel welcome. She kept us all laughing with her incredible sense of humor, while at the same time always performing as the consummate professional. I feel so honored to have known her."

Driven by a steady acoustic guitar line and supplemented by sweet harmonies from Family Three, it’s an americana-blues track with an assured sense of place and an instantly catchy hook:

“Yesterday I felt like the world was right and well / That’s when I’m home,” Josh sings, walking down a melody line that settles into resolution on the repeat: “That’s when I know I’m home.”
