Terrapin Crossroads and Paper Moon Presents are thrilled to announce the lineup for the upcoming Terrapin Roadshow in Monte Rio on May 31 & June 1, featuring an all-star cast of musicians dedicated to carrying on the spirit of the Grateful Dead. Taking the stage at Monte Rio Amphitheater are Grahame Lesh, Sam Grisman, Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz, Amy Helm, Jason Crosby, Ezra Lipp, and special guests.
On August 13, 1975, The Grateful Dead played a show at the ridiculously small and distinctively decorous Great American Music Hall (GAMH) in San Francisco. This was one of only four concerts the band played that year, all of them in San Francisco. The setlist was mostly comprised of songs from the album Blues for Allah, which had not yet been released. Many Deadheads revere the GAMH performance as an all-time favorite.
Spotlighted by a first-set tribute to The Band, including such classics as “Up on Cripple Creek,” “Acadian Driftwood,” “When I Paint My Masterpiece,” and “Don’t Do It,” five renowned San Francisco Bay Area musicians dubbed “Lebo & Friends” got together on January 28 for a swell Saturday night of songs and jamming in Auburn, Calif., in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
