Richmond, Virginia is one of those southern cities where one can ‘feel’ the history.. It’s everywhere you look.. There is Monument Avenue, with statues of the heroes -- from a Civil War that is still described by some old timers, as ‘the recent unpleasantness.’ There is the statue to the great African-American tap-dancer and performer Bill “Bojangles” Robinson.

Gathering of the Vibes 2010 marks the third installment of a five-year contract with the city of Bridgeport to host the annual music, arts and camping festival at Seaside Park through summer 2012. After drawing 20,000 revelers per day to the 370-acre venue last year, the city and festival organizers look to spread more positive Vibes in 2010.  This all-ages, family-friendly event will be held from July 29 to August 1.

The second annual ROTHBURY Festival at the Double JJ Ranch in Michigan promises four days and nights of music by 60+ bands this July 4^th Weekend.  Today, ROTHBURY announces a handful of new artists just added to the lineup.
