Khruangbin is a three-piece band from Houston, Texas, formed in 2009 with Laura Lee on bass, Mark Speer on guitar and Donald Johnson on drums. Taking influence from 1960's Thai funk-their name literally translates to "Engine Fly" in Thai-Khruangbin is steeped in the bass heavy, psychedelic sound of their inspiration, Tarantino soundtracks and surf-rock cool.

Today, the pairing shares an animated video for the EP’s sultry slowjam “Chocolate Hills,” a stripped-down song that highlights Bridges’ voice amidst its very own Willy Wonka-treatment.

Today, on the pairings’ new song “Chocolate Hills,” the artists embrace spacey sensuality, as Bridges’ honeyed tones ooze into the song’s steady bassline, swirling guitar, Hammond organ and synthesizer.

Khruangbin and Leon Bridges today announce their latest collaborative EP, Texas Moon out February 18th on Dead Oceans, in partnership with Columbia Records and Night Time Stories Ltd. An extension of the two’s chart-topping four-song Texas Sunjourney, Texas Moon is an introspective stroll through the dark.

Outside Lands is finally back. The crown jewel in the Bay Area’s yearly live music experience finally returned to Golden Gate Park. Three days of music, food, and escape for everyone from hippies to tech bros. Unable to return during their typical early-August dates due to pandemic-related restrictions, the festival was slated for a unique space on the calendar. Halloween, the unofficial landmark holiday of San Francisco, collided with the last day of Outside Lands 2021.

Beach Road Weekend has added 13-time Grammy award winning artist Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Caamp, Guster and more to its stellar lineup for the 2022 music festival. The lineup also features Beck, Wilco, The Avett Brothers, Khruangbin, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit and more than two dozen other artists performing August 26-28, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Park on Martha’s Vineyard. The festival also announced a new round of hotel packages, including several options on Cape Cod.
