Starting in 2010 on New York City subway platforms, a decade later, Moon Hooch is wowing audiences throughout the world. Horn players Mike Wilbur & Wenzl McGowen along with drummer James Muschler, the trifecta is a group that is best experienced in the live setting. On Friday, January 24th, Moon Hooch will bring what they like to call “cave music” to The Main Line, Ardmore Music Hall. This night is going to be an all-night dance party.

Moon Hooch have released "Nonphysical," the second single from the band's forthcoming studio album, 'Life On Other Planets' due out January 10.

As attendees began to make their way from the parking lot into Red Rocks Amphitheatre for the night, there was an excelled energy running throughout the air. Loyal fans and newcomers were highly anticipating the night full of instrumental jams and pure funk.

Moon Hooch have released a remix of "Acid Mountain" by visionary British drum and bass DJ Roni Size. The original track is from the Brooklyn-based trio's three-song EP, 'Light It Up,' which was released earlier this summer both digitally and as a set of three color vinyl 7-inches, each featuring one of the EP's studio recordings on the A-side with the B-side featuring a live recording of the track.

Moon Hooch's new EP 'Light It Up,’ released earlier this year, features three tracks ("Acid Mountain," "Light It Up" and "Growing Up") that quickly became staples of the Brooklyn-based trio’s live shows. The band has now announced plans to release all three songs each on a different color limited edition 7-inch vinyl. Due August 24 via Hornblow Recordings, the A-side will present the studio version, while the B-side will be a corresponding live recording of the song.

Moon Hooch have announced the release of a new EP, 'Light It Up,' due April 6. Recorded at the bucolic and tranquil Gnomehaus just outside of Burlington, VT during a rare extended break from their perpetual touring schedule, it presents three songs that the band has been perfecting in their live show over an extended period of time. Known for their raucous dance party-inducing performances, it's only fitting that Moon Hooch capture that same raw primal energy in the studio.
