Steely Dan and the Grateful Dead are both American musical treasures – but couldn’t be more different in their approach to music. The epitome of precision and setlist free, organic, and loose.  Studio perfectionists and the omnipotent live music band. Yet in spite of these differences, many of us love both these bands. They’re huge parts of the soundtracks of our youth and present day. What better way to celebrate both bands then enjoying a merge of the two in a night of American rock-n-roll supremacy.

Vida Blue - Page McConnell - keyboard, vocals (Phish), Oteil Burbridge - bass (Dead & Company, Allman Brothers Band), Russell Batiste - drums (The Meters), and Adam Zimmon - guitar (Ziggy Marley, Shakira) -- has released their first album in 15 years. CROSSING LINES arrives digitally today.

Mike and his band will hit the road for a few weeks in 2020 beginning January 17 with their first ever show in Ithaca, NY and concluding February 1 in Seattle, WA. The tour includes shows Toronto, Chicago, St. Louis, Salt Lake City, Portland and others.

Trey Anastasio has released a new acoustic song, “Sunset Days.” The song, taken from the final scene of his acclaimed new feature-length documentary, Between Me and My Mind, is available now on all streaming services.

Just a few weeks before Phish begins its traditional summer-ending three-night run at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO, the band has announced a run of Fall 2019 tour dates. The seven-date tour begins with two performances at Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, RI, and culminates with their first-ever three-night run in Charleston, SC at the North Charleston Coliseum.

Pink Talking Fish will be bringing their fusion of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish all around the country this Fall.  The tour includes festivals, headlining premiere venues, multiple night runs, and a variety of concept shows including the debut of a PTF Kids show.

The final day of Bonnaroo 2019 dawned bright and sunny and was the first scorching day of the festival. Rain clouds threatened the countryside throughout the day, creating a sweat-drenched humid environment sending festival goers to watery refreshment. Many concertgoers were beginning to show signs of fatigue after four nonstop nights of partying. People could be seen passed out in shady spots all across Centeroo throughout the day. But another day of incredible music revived many in the crowd.

The organizers of the Bonnaroo music festival have done a remarkable job in recent years of booking relevant new music from multiple genres including, E.D.M., Hip Hop, and Pop music. The result has been to attract a vibrant multi-generational audience. But the festival has wisely continued to offer more traditional music as well, offering up Country, Rock, and most importantly Jam bands, sticking to its roots while simultaneously expanding the musical genres offered.

The Rock and Roll Playhouse, a family concert series hosted at historic music venues across the country, allows kids to “move, play and sing while listening to works from the classic-rock canon” (NY Times). Performing songs created by the most iconic musicians in rock history, The Rock and Roll Playhouse band offers its core audience of families with children age ten and under games, movement, stories and an opportunity to rock out in an effort to educate children and explore their creativity.
