The Revolution has gathered together to celebrate and pay tribute to their PRINCE. The band will set off on their first coast-to-coast foray in decades in response to the overwhelming reaction of February’s surprise announcement of their reunion.

DELIVERANCE features six previously unreleased tracks: "Deliverance," "Man Opera," which includes a four-movement medley: "I Am," "Touch Me," "Sunrise Sunset," "No One Else;" and an extended version of "I Am." The songs were written and recorded when Prince was an independent artist, protesting what he saw as an unjust music industry. In the spirit of that independence, and in supporting Prince's opinion of major label contracts, DELIVERANCE is being released independently via RMA, a Vancouver, WA based record company.

Esteemed bassist, funk legend and Prince collaborator, Nik West, shares lead single and video, “Bottom Of The Bottle,” from her upcoming solo release. The video premiered on Vibe, who praised West’s legendary musical career - check out the premiere here. West says the song isn’t as gloomy as it sounds, stating, “Live your life to the fullest and try to see the good in it all.

In the weeks following pop icon Prince’s untimely passing, hordes of respected entertainers paid their respects through acknowledgement or performance. Once again, an artist’s full depth and impact is celebrated strongest posthumously. That is not to say that Prince’s impact as a musician and atypical sex symbol wasn’t already deeply influential. Take funk saxophonist and bandleader Karl Denson.

Last night, Slightly Stoopid returned to Tamalpais Research Institute (TRI Studios) for a live performance and webcast featuring special guests including legendary Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir, Karl Denson (Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Rolling Stones), Angelo Moore (Fishbone, Dr. Madd Vibe), Marlon Asher (Ganja Farmer), and Roger Rivas (Aggrolites).
