Acclaimed instrumental electronic rock band STS9--hailed as "a musical force to be reckoned with" by Wesley Hodges of

A pilgrimage for some, a hop and a skip for others, Wakarusa was our home for 4 glorious days. A melting pot of positive energy that could only be described as wholesome as homemade, we relished in the chance to enjoy new music and new friends.

STS9 is returning to the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO this September for the band’s 13th consecutive year, and 17th time overall, headlining the famed venue.

STS9--started the new year with a four-night takeover of the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO which included a special New Year’s Day charity dinner event benefitting Conscious Alliance. 600 lucky fans joined the electronic rock quintet for a memorable evening that the band is now making available for all to experience via BitTorrent Bundle.

The title of this review does not just come from my opinion as a music writer in the scene since the mid-nineties. I have heard this from nearly every person that I have heard talk about STS9 for the last year or so including members of the band. I was lucky enough to catch half of their four-night run at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, and I saw them at least three other times in the past year.

2015 is already looking to be a big year for STS9. The acclaimed instrumental electronic rock band—who will kick off the new year in Denver with four nights at the Fillmore Auditorium--have announced multiple night runs in Aspen, Chicago and Athens for February and March.

As we feel the weather changing around us, and we realize that Thanksgiving is in the air, we also must celebrate a few other traditions, like revisiting the Last Waltz, or listening to Arlo Guthrie’s “Alice’s Restaurant” on Thanksgiving Day. In Colorado, we now have another tradition around this time of year, invented by the minds of J2G Productions. In the spirit of the Last Waltz, we have our own all-star jam called the Dance Party Time Machine. This machine, escorts the audience through a timeless tale of dance music through a sixty year period.
