The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra invites audiences to join in on “A Whole New Summer” as a bold lineup and audience perks are announced for the 2019 summer season. Kroger Symphony on the Prairie is expanding to more than 30 concerts in its 38th year, and several new amenities will be available to patrons at the Conner Prairie Amphitheatre.

Gathering of the Vibes is incredibly excited to announce the latest round of band additions to the East Coast’s premier music and camping festival, celebrating its 19th year.

After a summer playing dates with the likes of the Allman Brothers Band and Tedeschi Trucks, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals brought it all back home to Vermont for Grand Point North, the two-day music festival they host at Waterfront Park on the banks of Lake Champlain in downtown Burlington.

Last year My Morning Jacket played a single night at Red Rocks Amphitheater, but as they are becoming more and more of a household name, one night wasn’t enough for this year. The Louisville, Kentucky boys came in strong for the opening night on Friday with a 29-song set. It’s been over a year since the release of their sixth album, Circuital, and as of lately they have shed the “Victory Dance”/Title track opener in favor of a more random choice of opening songs.

In the midst of his second European tour in the last six months Trombone Shorty (Troy Andrews) was joined by his mentor and former bandleader Lenny Kravitz, who surprised Troy’s fans onstage in Paris on October 13th to sit in on drums. This was followed by a late-night session in the studio, where Andrews added some touches to Mr. Kravitz’ upcoming CD, which already includes horn parts Troy had recorded at Lenny’s studio in Caribbean.
