Atlanta Jazz Festival

The City of Atlanta – Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs is proud to announce that one of the largest free jazz festivals in the country, the Atlanta Jazz Festival, will return to Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta from Saturday, May 24 through Monday, May 26, 2025. Presented by Design Essentials, this annual celebration of jazz, community, and culture invites music enthusiasts to gather from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day for a series of outstanding performances.

One of the largest FREE jazz festivals in the country, the Atlanta Jazz Festival is an annual celebration of music, culture, and the art of jazz. The festival returns to historic Piedmont Park, in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, from Saturday, May 27 through Monday, May 29 from 11 am to 11 pm each day. Attendees will enjoy music featuring local, national, and international artists.

Today, the City of Atlanta’s Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs announced that the 43rd annual Atlanta Jazz Festival (AJF) will take place over Labor Day Weekend, Sunday, September 5 and Monday, September 6. The Festival was rescheduled from its traditional Memorial Day Weekend date out of an abundance of caution due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic.
