As Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival returns for the first time in 2 years this weekend we couldn't be more excited to welcome everyone back to the farm! But as we know that not all of you will be able to make it in-person, we are excited to announce that Friday and Saturday night of the festival will be available to watch LIVE from anywhere through a high definition multi-camera live stream broadcast by StageIt and Event Webcasting!
Join Nu Deco for the final live stream concert of the season! This concert will feature a world-premiere orchestral work from singer/songwriter, composer, producer, and all around keyboard master, Cory Henry; an original work from Nu Deco keyboardist Jason Matthews & Nu Deco Co-Founder, Sam Hyken; and a symphonic exploration into the music of Dr. Dre. The concert will close out with a special collaboration featuring New Orleans based, Tank and the Bangas.
Nu Deco Ensemble is thrilled to welcome Tank and the Bangas for a stunning collaborative performance to close out the 2020/21 season on May 15th from their home at North Beach Bandshell on Miami Beach. Music virtuoso Cory Henry announced a holiday album “Christmas With You” on December 11, 2020. The project showcases soulful renditions of classic holiday songs with collaborations from Jay White, and Gospel Legends Lenny Smith and Anaysha Figueroa-Cooper.
On December 5, Henry performs the album at the Kennedy Center Opera House for NPR's annual Jazz Piano Christmas and will broadcast online and over the NPR radio network.
Cory Henry released his anticipated solo album ‘Something To Say’ (STS). As his first body of work that he solely produced, the 11-song project is a reflection of his impressive musical mind and multi-instrumentalist mastery. The project is “right on time with this message to remind us all to not forget what we’re living and fighting for” (Essence).
