In November, New Orleans-based guitarist and vocalist Steve Kelly announced his 8-track debut solo album Here’s The Thing available on February 21, 2025 via Regime Music Group. Coined as “Americana Soul,” Kelly’s songwriting navigates the complexities of life’s cycles, candid struggles with mental health; the perils and pitfalls of substance abuse and addiction, and the peaks and valleys of personal relationships, ultimately delivering a message of hope and perseverance.

New Orleans’ one and only Galactic has joined forces with the legendary Soul Queen of New Orleans, GRAMMY® Award-winning singer Irma Thomas, for an all-new collaborative album. Audience With The Queen arrives Friday, April 11 on Galactic’s own Tchuop-Zilla Records. Pre-orders are available now.

Galactic returned to the iconic Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, January 27, 2024, for the second night of a two-night winter stand that packed quite the punch. This New Orleans, La-based septet sold out the jam band-loving venue, and brought the French Quarter with them, along with plenty of funk and jazz. Neo-soul guitarist and singer Kendra Morris provided support with her band this evening.
