Celebrating nearly five decades of musical friendship, JOE SATRIANI and STEVE VAI have collaborated on music for the first time!  Releasing tomorrow, Friday, March 29, “The Sea of Emotion, Pt. 1” showcases the unmatched synergy between these two legendary guitarists as they seamlessly trade solo sections throughout the nearly six-minute opus! Teaming up with Satch and Vai on the track are Eric Caudieux on keyboards, who also served as co-producer the song, with the rhythmic backbone provided by Matt Chamberlain on drums and Matt Bissonette on bass.

Fresh on the heels of the exciting G3 Reunion of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Eric Johnson, comes “The Satch-Vai Tour” launching on March 22 in Orlando, FL. The tour will hit Atlanta, Boston, New York, DC, Detroit, Minneapolis and more before winding up in Salt Lake City on May 8 with 31 shows announced today, more dates TBA soon. This marks the first time that the long-time friends have toured as a duo-bill. In additional exciting news, for the first time they will collaborate on new music with plans to release just before the tour launches in March.

Conceived in 1995 by the multi-Grammy nominated guitarist, JOE SATRIANI, the inaugural G3 Tour took place in 1996 bringing together three of the most iconic and virtuosic guitarists of their time: Satriani, Eric Johnson and Steve Vai. Known for their incredible technical prowess, musical innovation and unique styles, the G3 tour was a celebration of guitar mastery and proved extremely popular, captivating audiences worldwide.

Fresh off his Worldwide Tour supporting his 19th Studio album, The Elephants of Mars, world renowned guitarist, Joe Satriani, is now planning to bring his art showings back to the Washington, DC area this July. Satriani’s next art appearances will be at the Wentworth Gallery at Tysons Galleria in McLean VA on Saturday, July 15th from 3-6 pm as well as a visit on Sunday, July 16th 1-4 pm at the Wentworth Gallery at Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, MD.

Joe Satriani, the legendary world-renowned guitarist, is planning two additional outings as a touring visual artist with showings coming to two Wentworth Gallery locations in March, 2023 - specifically, Saturday, March 11th at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and Sunday March 12th at the King of Prussia location. Satriani will be performing a private, intimate concert for Wentworth clients at the end of each show.

After being forced to postpone numerous tour dates over the last two years JOE SATRIANI is more than ready to get back to live shows and playing for his legions of fans across the world. The U.S. leg of his worldwide “Earth Tour” will get things started with the tour launch on September 21  in Riverside, CA and continue through November 19 with a final date in the U.S. to take place in Dallas, TX. Satriani will then head over to Europe for rescheduled shows in early 2023.
 

JOE SATRIANI is unleashing his newest studio album, The Elephants of Mars, marking the legendary guitarist’s 19th studio album in his 35+year career in music. A dynamic and vivid new video for the title track, again directed by ZZ Satriani, debuts today at 12pm PT/3pm ET directed by ZZ Satriani. Satriani, ZZ and the band will join fans after the world premiere at 12:15 pm PT for a “Release Party Q&A.”

JOE SATRIANI is kicking off the new year with a brand-new album. Set for release on April 8, 2022, The Elephants of Mars marks the legendary guitarist’s 19th studio album in his 35+year career in music. This album also marks the debut of his new label partnership with earMUSIC, the international rock label of entertainment group Edel.

Joe Satriani, the legendary world-renowned guitarist, is planning his first foray as a touring visual artist with showings debuting at two Wentworth Gallery locations in January, 2022 - specifically, Friday January 28, 7-10 pm at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL and Saturday January 29, 5-8 pm at the Boca Raton location. Satriani has prepared one of a kind pieces for the exhibit including original canvases and hand painted guitars.
