Supporting the adage, “It’s not the destination, it’s the journey,” thousands of like-minded Sound Summit guests elevated their summer’s end on September 9 by navigating to the top of Mt. Tamalpais via the steep, switchback-filled Panoramic Highway to be greeted by a stone-terraced amphitheater with breathtaking views, brilliant sunshine, and a compelling mix of five engaging indie rock/Americana/folk performances.

On Tuesday, May 24th, Indie folk-rockers Lord Huron brought their eloquent melodies to the venue on a beautiful balmy evening. As is the custom at the pristine venue nestled in the oak-lined mountainside in Paso Robles, smiling music fans arrived early to sample the winery's wares, local beers, and yummy snacks, including wood-fired pizza. The back lawn area filled up early, seemingly a favorite spot for the many who arrived with their families in tow. The summer sunset shortly before opener Erin Rae took the stage. Nashville singer-songwriter Erin Rae backed by a trio of accomplished folk-rockers, played a pleasing 40-minute set of tunes from her two albums. The folksy tunes benefited from some spicey slide guitar work from the band's guitarist.

Today, Lord Huron release Long Lost (Deluxe Edition) as the definitive version of their critically acclaimed fourth full-length album, Long Lost. The band has expanded the tracklisting with two new songs: “Your Other Life” and “Ton Autre Vie.” Listen to Long Lost (Deluxe Edition)—HERE.

Sheryl Crow gets it – the beach life, that is. “All I wanna do is have some fun, until the sun comes up over Santa Monica Boulevard,” Crow sang on Sunday during a twilight set on the sand at Redondo Beach, just 15 miles south of the oceanfront Santa Monica Pier. One of the BeachLife Festival’s high-profile performers who first made waves toward prominence in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s, Crow shared top billing with Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer, Stone Temple Pilots, 311, and the Steve Miller Band (who’s first hit was in 1968).

Following last year’s triumphant sold-out fall tour, Lord Huron have announced even more dates to their North American headline summer tour.

The tour adds eight new dates including Chicago’s brand new venue The Salt Shed and Toronto’s RBC Echo Beach and more! See full list of new tour dates below.

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has shared the lineup for this year’s edition of the internationally acclaimed camping festival, taking place June 16-19, 2022 on the Bonnaroo Farm, located just 60 miles southeast of Nashville in Manchester, TN.
