The iconic North Mississippi Allstars return to the stage with a powerful live performance at the Boulder Theater on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. With over 25 years of groundbreaking blues-infused rock, 12 albums, five GRAMMY® nominations, and an enduring commitment to musical innovation, the Dickinson brothers are ready to set the night ablaze.

Creators of the boutique music vacation Topeka confirm the return of Grammy Award winners Tedeschi Trucks Band for another installment of their celebrated “Sun, Sand, and Soul” beach weekend. Curated by the band themselves, this special music vacation returns to the shores of Miramar Beach, Florida, from May 1-3, 2025.

The North Mississippi Allstars may not have been bona fide all-stars when they formed as a trio nearly thirty years ago, but the Brothers Dickinson have certainly attained that status by now. They proved their worthiness with a set that went way beyond their expected two-hour timeframe on Thursday at HopMonk Tavern in Novato.

Today, the five-time Grammy-nominated roots/blues/rock musician Cody Dickinson releases his acclaimed solo album Homemade on Strong Place Music. Just outside Martinsville, tucked away down amongst a hollow of southern Virginia, you will find Pop’s Farm, the home of Rooster Walk. The Rooster Walk Musical Festival started in 2009 as an annual party to honor high school friends and to raise money in their names for charity. It has since become one of the finest regional music festivals in the nation, with a dedicated fan base eager to ‘get their strut on’ every Memorial Day weekend.

This week, we had the opportunity to sit down with Johnny Buck, the executive director and co-founder of Rooster Walk, to discuss the upcoming Rooster Walk 14. The festival began in 2009 as a tribute to late high school friends Edwin Penn ('the rooster') and Walker Shank. From its inception, the festival has focused on supporting a charity that grants college scholarships to deserving seniors at Martinsville High School and provides instruments and funding to enhance local school band programs.

Today, Grammy-nominated roots/blues/rock musician Cody Dickinson releases "Goodbye Albuquerque Tuesday Night" from his upcoming album Homemade, out June 21st on Strong Place Music. The song is a fond farewell to the endless touring cycle from Dickinson, the founder and drumer of the North Mississippi Allstars. The track echoes the theme of Homemade, as Dickinson pays tribute to the changing priorities that bring him back home to Mississippi after a long performance run.

Today, Grammy-nominated roots/blues/rock musician Cody Dickinson announces his solo album, Homemade, out June 21st on Strong Place Music. Known for his role as founding member and drummer of North Mississippi Allstars, Dickinson moves in front of the drum kit on Homemade as he handles all aspects of the album: songwriting, performing every instrument, engineering and production.

The North Mississippi Allstars, an internationally touring blues band known for its energetically rollicking shows, top the third and final list of bands joining the 14th annual Rooster Walk Music & Arts Festival lineup. The NMAs, making their RW debut, have been nominated for four Grammys over a 25-year career that has produced 12 albums and countless sold-out shows. Big Something will also join the RW14 lineup. The North Carolina-based jam band has played nearly half a dozen Rooster Walks over the years.
