Papadosio

On Friday, August 26, Papadosio shared their first music since the release of their 2020 studio album Microdosio. The song “Not Just a Word” is the first vocal track that they have put out since their 2018 album Content Coma

Deftly navigating the confluence of prog rock, livetronica, jazz, & jam, Papadosio’s appeal as a crossover act has amassed a rabid fan base across North America. Thanks to a steady stream of innovative albums, they’ve seen a decade and a half of consistent touring with hundreds of live recordings at the fingertips of every follower. Their allure’s led to co-presenting massive events such as Resonance, Secret Dreams, Summer SEEquence, and Subterranea Festival, plus headline plays at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Papadosio is gearing up to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their third studio album, To End the Illusion of Separation, or as it is more commonly referred to, T.E.T.I.O.S. Having grown from playing open jams at the college bars around Athens, Ohio, to headlining multiple Red Rocks concerts and carving their own unique sound into a growing scene of jamtronica music, there is plenty to celebrate and the band has a lot of exciting things in the works.

Papadosio presents Acoustic Live, an eleven-track album captured during their 2022 four-night run at City Winery in Atlanta, GA and Nashville, TN. The LP features the band's curated selections from the series performed in rare acoustic splendor, with fan favorites such as Epiphany, The Elephant I Presume, Unparalyzer, and Mr. Turtles Cloud Kingdom.

Acclaimed live music destination The Caverns has partnered with prominent dynamic jamtronic band Papadosio to present Subterranea Festival, an intimate 1,200 capacity two-night spectacle in southeast Tennessee.

Papadosio, the Jamtronica squad originally from Athens, Ohio, delivered a scorcher last Saturday for a full house at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY. Their music incorporated a high energy blend of psychedelic rock, jazz, funk and electronica. Five LED display panels sat behind the band members and were synchronized with the lights to elevate the visual elements of the show.

Papadosio, five-piece improv-based jamtronica, curated a comprehensive audiovisual experience to stimulate a full-sensory empiricism. Papadosio was supported by a stellar musical lineup (Random Rab, Atyya, Blossomn), all facilitating the appearance of a hefty Denver-based live painting lineup (Emily Kell, Jake Amason, Krystelyez, Morgan Mandala, Mr. Melty, Peter Westerman, Randal Roberts, Seth McMahon, Stephen Kruse, Sweet Melis).

Soul Land Records will release Soul Land Music Series: Volume 1 on August 6, a collection of live music inspired by the life of spiritual teacher and cultural icon, Baba Ram Dass.

Today, Resonance Music and Arts Festival announced its initial 2021 lineup. The event, running from September 16th-18th at Marvin’s Mountaintop in Masontown, WV, will feature multiple sets from Resonance alumni, including Tipper (x2), Lotus, Lettuce, Papadosio (x3), and Umphrey’s McGee (x2). The festival will continue its tradition of “special” sets from a range of performers, including a mountain sunrise set from Tipper, a sunset set from Spafford, “TAUKing Wonder,” and a Keller Williams’ “Grateful Grass.”
