Vulfpeck

Theo Katzman reminds me of that kid in my junior high art class that was so charming, interesting and easy to talk to.  His music is crazy catchy. His voice is out of this world. He is like the Robin Williams of musical ingénue with vocal characters and complimentary insightful lyrics.  When not touring with Vulfpeck, he is doing his own solo material including his latest EP, Modern Johnny Tackles The Issues.

After a standout set at LOCKN' Festival in Arrington, VA this past weekend–which welcomed Vulfpeck guitarist-extraordinaire Cory Wong and the horns from The Revivalists–Baltimore-based quartet, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, are excited to share their latest news, including one of their largest plays to date.

You instinctually hum a tune in order to get pumped up in the morning, for fuel on the treadmill, to soundtrack your commute, or as the pre-game to a big night out. As much as he treasures his roles as a guitarist, composer, and producer, Cory Wong fashions himself “a hype man,” first and foremost. Living up to this classification, he slings a Stratocaster and hurls “dad jokes” from the stage with the same panache, poise, and power.

LOCKN' is excited to unveil its annual assortment of unprecedented artist collaborations. In addition to its already remarkable 2019 lineup, this year's edition of the four-day multi-stage camping festival will boast an array of truly extraordinary onstage partnerships, once again affirming LOCKN' among the world's most exciting and unique summer gatherings. LOCKN' takes place August 22-25 in Arrington, VA at Infinity Downs, LOCKN's 387-acre property located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Innovative artist and funk guitarist Cory Wong has released another moving instrumental studio video for "Home" feat.

Los Angeles transplants Vulfpeck took the crowd by storm Sunday night July 14th at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The show opened with a solo set by long-time Vulfpeck collaborator and local native Joey Dosik, with an accompanying multi-instrumentalist. A young crowd of enthusiastic fans gathered early at the outdoor amphitheater to enjoy the well-stocked food and beverage bars.
