Singer, songwriter, and memoirist, Zoe FitzGerald Carter, will release her newest LP, Before the Machine, on June 7, 2024.  Featuring nine original Americana songs tinged in folk, jazz, blues, and rock, the album was produced by Jeffrey Wood, mixed by Alberto Hernandez, mastered by Ken Lee, and recorded at Opus Studio and Alberto Hernandez Audio, in the singer’s hometown of Berkeley, California.

British band Squeeze is pleased to announce their Summer 2024 North American Tour, commencing August 14 in Eugene, Oregon. This will be Squeeze's latest U.S. foray since last year's American tour with The Psychedelic Furs. Boy George will be joining the band on the road this year. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 3, 2024, at 10AM Local Time.

The 29th annual International Festival of Arts & Ideas (IFAI), recently featured in the New York Times, is excited to announce its summer line-up to take festival-goers on an unforgettable journey from June 14 to 29.

“We are excited to offer more than 150 events this year - 85 percent of which are free to the public - which include a curated series of plays, films, exhibitions, food events, tours, talks and world-class musicians,” said Shelley Quiala, Executive Director of IFAI.

Irish bluegrass band JigJam was part of an electric weekend at the 36th annual MerleFest, performing an energetic set to a vibrant crowd Saturday night. The festival, held in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, drew in more than 80,000 fans.

Joining JigJam were other acclaimed performers such as Old Crow Medicine Show, known for their hit 'Wagon Wheel,' the Turnpike Troubadours, Nickel Creek, the Teskey Brothers, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Brandy Clark, and many more.
