AVLFest, Asheville’s premier multi-venue music marathon will return for its second annual celebration August 1-4, 2024. Presented by Wicked Weed Brewing and Worthwhile Sounds, the encore to 2023’s knockout inaugural event will welcome over 250 artists across a vast spectrum of genres including rock, Americana, hip-hop, electronic, psychedelic, funk, blues, and more. Last week, AVLFest revealed a stacked bill of lineup additions including chillwave icon Washed Out, Canadian indie-rock outfit The New Pornographers, Terminator X (of Public Enemy), crowd-favorite folk troubadours Langhorne Slim and Brett Dennen, Cali singer-songwriter Jessica Pratt, and dozens of others. This announcement follows the unveiling of AVLFest’s initial lineup in March, which highlighted acts such as Papadosio, Beachwood Sparks, Blitzen Trapper, S.G. Goodman, River Whyless, SUSTO, and The Heavy Heavy. See above for AVLFest’s complete 2024 lineup.
AVLFest will bring non-stop entertainment to area residents and visitors alike for a second year in a row August 1-4. Performance showcases are set to take place throughout the weekend, with wristbands granting passholders access to all AVLFest host venues, as well discounts at numerous local retailers and restaurants. New for this year––in lieu of any separately ticketed stand alone headliners, all AVLFest performances are included in the weekend pass. Showcases are set to take place at a variety of indoor and outdoor venues including The Outpost, The Orange Peel, The Grey Eagle, and newly-participating establishments including Eulogy, Citizen Vinyl, and Jack of the Wood. Also set for the second annual AVLFest are new and improved shuttle bus routes, bike maps, and a variety of restaurant and retail partners.
AVLFest is proud to announce that a portion of proceeds from its 2024 festival will benefit Asheville Music Professionals, a local nonprofit driving education, advocacy, and collaboration in the western North Carolina music community.
$135 GA and $250 VIP Weekend passes are available now. Local patrons who would like to support AVLFest while sparing online ticketing fees can now purchase AVLFest passes in person at Harvest Records and Records in the RAD.
