Fruition joined Jack Johnson each night on the tour for his songs “Big Sur” and “Breakdown.” Houston Press said "If you didn't get to the show early, you missed a nice and unexpected treat in Fruition. You may have been kicking yourself when they joined Johnson (who was on the uke!) for a rousing version of 'Breakdown.’”

Fruition were such a big hit that Jack invited the band for an unexpected sit-in during his set at the New Orleans Jazz Festival this past weekend. Getting the call just two hours before showtime and being in the midst of a long drive from Dallas, TX to New Orleans, it was only thanks to a little luck, a lead foot, and help from the extroadinary staff at NOLA Jazz Fest that they were able to make it happen. Ben Elman from Galactic also joined in on the set.

Returning the favor, Zach Gill from Jack's band and ALO came to Fruition's late night set at the House of Blues, where he sat in on his own tune “Handy Man” and Tom Petty’s "Runnin' Down A Dream.”

The band wraps up their own headlining tour this week with shows in Alabama and Georgia. They'll continue throughout the spring and summer with plenty of festivals and a night at Red Rocks Amphitheatre opening for Railroad Earth on August 18th. A Fall tour announcement is coming soon.
