The high energy, rock-fusion band Spafford recently played another hopping performance at Hop Springs Beer Park in Murfreesboro, TN. Hop Springs boasts itself as the largest brewhouse in Middle Tennessee, and music fans were treated to a special night on September 21. This show will be one of the three upcoming scheduled live streams, which also includes Athens's Georgia Theatre from September 22, and Carrboro's Cat's Cradle from September 23.
The full Murfreesboro show will be live streamed in a few days, but we have an exclusive sneak peek below. The second set got cranked up quickly with a pavement pounding version of "Diesel Driver," which transitioned directly into the always light and airy original, "Windmill," a Spafford classic that features euphoric and melodic solos by lead guitarist/vocalist Brian Moss. The second set was punctuated with the jam-heavy "Lovesick Melody">"Soil", a song combination that has played with each other since New Year's Eve in 2017.
