As a result, her book Alive with the Dead / A Fly on the Wall with a Camera, self-published in 2016, was stuffed with shots from places most Dead photographers couldn’t go—Bob Weir’s wedding, a party at Mickey Hart’s house with Jerry, Governor Jerry Brown, and the Gyuto Monks, and lots more. Unsurprisingly, it was a huge hit, and traveling around the country meeting hundreds of ‘heads and selling it was enormously satisfying.

Just this fall, the singer, songwriter and guitarist Jay Carlis released his Robert Hunter and Jason Isbell inspired solo, Americana and folk debut, Here We Are.  The songs on the record touch on themes of change, technology and coming into middle age as both a father and a husband.

Today, singer/songwriter/feminist/activist/author DIY icon Ani DiFranco announces her twenty-second album Revolutionary Love, set for release January 29, 2021 on her Righteous Babe Records label.

Today, rising Connecticut-based jam quintet Goose announced a pair of upcoming free live streams for fans. Featuring both shows from the band’s recent Halloweekend at South Farms in Morris, CT, the video premieres will be available on both Facebook and YouTube.
