On Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM MT, The Colorado Music Relief Fund (CMRF) will launch with a virtual event, presented by Breckenridge Brewery, ‘Banding Together: A Concert for the Colorado Music Relief Fund,’ to generate much-needed relief funds to help all those in the Colorado music industry affected by COVID-19. People across the world can tune into the three-hour event to watch performances and storytelling by musicians, crew members, industry members, and Colorado personalities.

Porter Productions, the organizers of The Town and The City Festival, has officially postponed the 2020 festival.  Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and the many challenges that have arisen from it, a decision has been made to move the event from October 23 + 24, 2020 to October 22 + 23, 2021. The event will still feature many local musicians as well as national touring acts performing at venues across downtown Lowell.

Today, Ideaison announces Retrospekt, a two-day Livestream event taking place in the Downtown L.A. (DTLA) Arts District in June. The new kind of virtual music festival will integrate live and digital elements and will be free to those who R.S.V.P. All fan donations will go to two organizations: To Write Love on Her Arms and MusiCares, that support music, events, and mental health to aid in crisis relief.

Steve Earle & The Dukes will release their anticipated Ghosts of West Virginia tomorrow via New West Records.  The album centers on the Upper Big Branch coal mine explosion that killed twenty-nine men in that state in 2010, making it one of the worst mining disasters in American history. Its first seven songs were written for and performed by Earle in Coal Country, a play with music about the disaster. Opening to critical acclaim on March 3rd at the Public Theater in NYC, the production was postponed after only two weeks due to COVID-19.

Today, Seth Walker shares the video for his new single, "We Got This." The song is a rallying cry for people everywhere to come together.
