British Blues Award winner Dani Wilde would like to dedicate her new VizzTone single, Brave, to all of the brave Doctors, Nurses and Key Workers around the globe.

The Blues Music Foundation presented the 41st Annual Blues Music Awards via virtual ceremony on Sunday, May 3rd, 2020. A rising star in the international blues community, Sugaray Rayford, has won the prestigious B.B. King Entertainer of the Year and for the second consecutive year, nabbed the Soul Blues Male Artist Award. The singer was also nominated in four additional categories.

Nonprofit organization, JusticeAid, has announced Voices To Protect The Vote, an at-home benefit concert in support of its 2020 beneficiary, Election Protection/888-OUR-VOTE. The virtual event, taking place on May 18th, 2020 at 7PM ET/4PM PT on JusticeAid’s YouTube and hosted by NYC’s WFUV Program Director Rita Houston, will shine a light on issues of voter suppression and serve as a gift of uplifting music during these difficult times.

Summer Camp Music Festival in conjunction with partners Live from Out There, have revealed plans to commemorate the fest’s 20th year on Memorial Day Weekend (which would have been the actual anniversary) with an online streaming event for everyone to enjoy. This digital party will take a look back at the past two decades of shared love, community and of course, music. We all intended to stand at the high point in West Virginia to celebrate life with music and friends, yet the global pandemic requires us to consider everyone’s health and the big picture.

Grammy Award winning, Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame member, Little Richard, the mastermind behind legendary hits “Long Tall Sally,” “Rip It Up,” “Good Golly Miss Molly,” “Tutti Frutti” and many more, has passed away at the age of 87. Little Richard's music broke racial barriers and his impressionable style shattered all that was standard. The eccentric star paved the way for other stand-out acts with his unique nature, flamboyant flair and inspiring innovations to culture. With an unmatched career of stellar achievements, the musical giant leaves behind an unforgettable legacy.

John Craigie releases his track “Don’t Ask” from his upcoming album Asterisk the Universe, out June 12th via Thirty Tigers. Originally released as a solo version in 2018, the song quickly became a live fan favorite. Craigie reimagined the track with a full band arrangement, featuring a funky groove underneath Motown-inspired vocal arrangements.
