97.3 KBCO is pleased to present the second annual On Tap with KBCO Series taking place August 26th at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton, CO. This year’s event will feature all day music, Breckenridge Brewery beers, and raise money for Denver based nonprofit Project C.U.R.E.

TAUK has just released “Realize” a new single on all digital services. Recorded during the Sir Nebula album sessions, the track was the last song cut to fit the vinyl release. The band wraps their spring tour this weekend with a show tonight in Boston’s Brighton Music Hall and tomorrow at NYC’s Irving Plaza. TAUK will be playing a special set on Saturday in honor of earth day with the West End Blend horns.  Support comes from Consider the Source and Space Bacon.

The Cranberries are set to release Something Else, a new album featuring re-worked renditions of their major hits, as well as brand new material. The album is due out April 28 via BMG on digital and CD formats, and includes seminal Cranberries songs like "Linger," "Zombie," "Dreams," and "Ode To My Family"... re-recorded in orchestral and acoustic arrangements.Something Else celebrates the 25th anniversary of the band.
 

I was at this show, and it still remains the favorite of the 70 shows I saw between 1973 -1995. Was only the second night of the tour, general admission, on a rainy cool day. Civic Center was way smaller than most of the other Northeastern 'hockey rink' venues, so it always felt more intimate and with better sound. I attended the show with at least 10 of my friends, we grabbed a bunch of seats just off the floor, not too far back on the side.

The act, Tuck and Patti, is comprised of guitarist William Charles “Tuck” Andress and vocalist/arranger Patti Cathcart. They began garnering steam in 1981 after making the decision to perform as a duo. Their recording career was launched with the release of “Tears of Joy” (Windham Hill Records) in 1987.
