Dark Star Orchestra's Summer Tour plans are now complete with the roll out of nearly a dozen new shows. This Summer's nation-spanning tour reaches both coasts - from California to New York - and many places in between, with the band performing at some of its favorite venues as well as a handful of new stages.

The legendary Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY hosted two very different, but incredibly talented jam bands on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The Motet, a six-piece funk band from Denver, CO, was in the headliner time slot, with Lespecial, the prog rock power trio from Southern Connecticut as the opener. Both bands brought a lot of fun, jam-rock energy, albeit from very different musical perspectives.

Born in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, Johnson's profound impact on the Delta blues and beyond has made him a pivotal figure in the evolution of American music.

When Matt Krahula realized the 10th anniversary was coming up for Last Goodbye, the very well-received album he’d penned and performed as a member of the Nightmare River Band, he wanted to do something special to celebrate that release and, in his words, “give the songs some new life.”

The Wallflowers will perform their acclaimed 1996 album Bringing Down the Horse as well as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ Long After Dark in their entirety on October 2, 2024 at the Palace Theatre. It will be The Wallflowers’ first Los Angeles headline performance in over a decade and will be the first time the band will play Bringing Down the Horse in full. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, May 10 at 10 am PST.

Breakthrough guitarist, songwriter, and bandleader Grace Bowers is nominated for Instrumentalist of the Year at the 2024 Americana Music Association Honors & Awards. The awards ceremony will take place at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday, September 18.

A festival close to our hearts, Grateful Web has been covering Cali Roots since the mid-2010s and during this time, we have seen firsthand how many hold it in high regard. An institution many believe to be the nucleus of the reggae resurgence in America, it has both played host to and even helped create some of the biggest names in the genre. At the center of it all, festival organizer Dan Sheehan runs the show.

North Carolina’s Beech Mountain Resort has announced the return of its annual outdoor concert series this summer. The series will kick off June 8 with performances by The String Cheese Incident and The Wood Brothers; followed by an extended Party on the Mountain weekend July 19-21 with NEEDTOBREATHE, Dispatch, Greensky Bluegrass, Yola, and Maggie Rose; with Sylvan Esso and Soccer Mommy rounding out the season on August 10.
