June 2013
Real Gone Music continues its puckish pursuit of all varieties of pop music with a July 30 release schedule that ranges from the foremost exponents of pop-soul to the high priestesses of intergalactic funk, with the world's largest synthesizer and the most infamous "anti-classical" album of all time in between. The long-overlooked Warner Bros. period of legendary singer Dionne Warwick receives a fresh re-examination with two collections featuring her complete singles for the label and 19 unreleased tracks including newly unearthed work with Burt Bacharach.
JEMP Records has released a promo track from their newest box-set release, Phish: Ventura.
Arriving on the Denver scene just a few years ago, keyboardist/composer Jon Wirtz has since performed for millions of people both locally and nationally. Over the past 10 years he has mainly been a sideman, having worked with Grammy-winning producers Malcolm Burn and John Macy, and shared the stage with artists including Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Justin Timberlake, Robbie Krieger (The Doors), Melissa Etheridge, pianist Joe Bonner, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Matt Morris and Charlie Sexton (Bob Dylan).
Two-time Grammy-winning quintet, Inner Circle, will be hitting the road this summer for the first time in many years playing dates across the U.S. and across the globe. Inner Circle will bring their uplifting music and positive message of humanitarianism and non-violence to California, Las Vegas, Austin, New Orleans, Mexico, Uganda and beyond.
