Resuming its status as an annual event after several seasons as a biennial, the New York Guitar Festival returns in Spring 2017 with cross-cultural concert programming in celebration of works for guitar. This year the Festival expands its partnership with media sponsor WNYC, which will host a 4-week series of events at The Greene Space.

This time the band has teamed up with We’re hEAR for You in conjunction with Hearo’s Ear Plugs, and NYS Music to provide free EAR plugs at their shows. The band throws hard hitting jam/prog rock shows with a dominate force each night so is on a mission to take care of their fans in every way possible.
Los Angeles based Rock Fusion trio, King Llama, is hitting some big stages this year with their album, RETURN TO OX. Happening right now is a South American tour. Look out as King Llama performs at a few notable festivals, including 2 days at Summer Camp Festival in Chillicothe IL this Memorial Day weekend, and Progtoberfest in Chicago on Saturday 10/21.

A Northern Star, A Perfect Stone, the debut album from experimental Canadian artist Mappe Of, is set for release on July 28 through Paper Bag Records. The album’s opening two tracks, the delicate, atmospheric “Cavern’s Dark” and the progressive oeuvre “Nimbin” offer a glimpse into the scope of A Northern Star, A Perfect Stone.
