So far 2017 has been a year of leaps and bounds for Minneapolis's funk bringers, PHO.  They kicked off the year with a short run with The Motet, spent Mardi Gras opening up for the Eric Krasno Band, played a packed hometown show at the Triple Rock on Prince's Memorial Day, performed a successful run of shows in Colorado, and released their highly anticipated sophomore album, two, with it debuting at #10 on the Relix/Jamband Radio Charts.

Santa Barbara County, home to copious amounts of live pop music has seen very little in the way of hardcore rock as of late. One of the last great heavy metal shows at the Santa Barbara Bowl was by the infamous rock band Tool in 1999. That amazing show landed the group a $50,000 fine for playing after the 10 PM curfew and playing too loud.

The phrase That’s What She Said, has been used in our culture for a while but not really put into a musical connotation like this. Ali takes her natural ability to converse and connect while being poetic and authentic.
