Chuck Berry’s words are at the very heart of Roots Rock & Roll 5-piece, The 40 Acre Mule. The self-described “Rhythm & Blues Outfit” are a powerhouse of vintage revival with a reputation for seamlessly blurring the lines between country, soul and rock audiences with songwriting that borders between blues drenched heartbreak and an old school riot in the streets.

Michaela Anne grew up bouncing around the States and abroad—from Washington to California to Italy, to name a few. A child of a military family, she learned to cope with her lack of roots and what she called “having more questions than answers” by learning to write songs.

Spragga Benz, the Jamaican dancehall icon, dropped a new single, “If Yuh Ready,” featuring UK legend General Levy out now via Easy Star Records/Buttercuts Records/Red Square Productions. The single is from Spragga Benz’s forthcoming album called Chiliagon, due out later in the year.

Todd Snider has assembled a cast of friends to head out with him in September to play a few select shows on the continuation of his 'Cash Cabin Session' album tour. Dates include September 19 at The Grandel in St. Louis, September 20 at Medicine Stone Festival in Talequah, OK and September 21 at the Crosstown Theatre in Memphis. Snider will gather together with Hard Working Americans' bandmates Neal Casal, Jesse Aycock and Chad Staehly as well as welcome into the fold Nashville drummer Ken Coomer (Uncle Tupelo/Wilco).
